Siege Con Updates
Hello again! We have lots of big updates so let's jump right in.
I have released an updated version of the demo with a number of quality-of-life changes that have been developed over the last several months. While the actual content of the demo has remained mostly intact, there are some fun surprises added in that make it worth a replay. Specifically, the boss fight has had a few revamps to add more dynamic gameplay and make it less of a slog.
Now all of this is cool, but that's not the kind of update we were looking for, right? Where's the content? Where are the new levels? I want to see actual monsters, damnit! While all of that is in the pipeline and coming along nicely, this update is for a specific purpose (as the title may have already spoiled). These updates were necessary as I will showcase The Last Broadcast at Siege Con this year!
For those not aware, Siege stands for Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo. This convention is hosted by the Georgia Game Developers Association and is a huge showcase for indie developers in the South East. There is a lot that goes into presenting at these conventions and as part of that, I want to be able to show off as much of a finished product as possible. The event will be this Saturday, Sept 14th at the Doraville Digital Studios in Atlanta, GA.
So, with all of that said, you can find the latest updates to the demo files for each platform, including a new installer for the Windows build that streamlines the installation process.
With all that out of the way, I have several more announcements coming down the line, including new features and UI updates that will get their showcases very soon. For now, there is still a lot of work left to do before this weekend.
